There is a lot of discussion about whether an online degree is as effective as a traditional classroom learning experience. This topic was something that I questioned personally because of controversy in whether an online way of learning is better, worst, or equal to classic styles used originally. Many adults including scholars and teachers are constantly searching for the best way to educate students for the future. Face to face education being the typical form seems to be the norm in how student are accustom to being taught. However, online alternatives are becoming more frequent in how programs are designed to meet the demand of busy schedules and the pace of our ever changing society. Through my personal experience when comparing traditional curriculum to modern curriculum I have observed the need for online resources in both circumstances. This innovative way of incorporating personal hobbies and interest in a school setting was a natural way of applying personal abilities. These abilities learned from online learning are mirrored after how many modern business of today are structured. Furthermore why Jhosta (2007) made a very pertinent statement, "many employers when seeking staff would prefer a student that is current within the evolution of technology." This statement provides a reality of the hindrance caused if a student is not exposed to modern learning styles. In addition through further research provided, Ms. tucker (2001) addressed concerns in regard to students well being without the application of online method. Ms Tucker (2001) stated, "many students were more receptive to information being taught to them in a method that was familiar." Thus addressing student’s ways of learning in comparison to online and traditional methods. Today’s Students success have proven to be successful because of the rise in the graduation rate and job stability for many online student. These students are not only learning at a faster rate, but are able to apply techniques from online learning styles. When comparing these finding to a student who is not supported by the tools offered in online learning then truly the student is not being equipped to survive in today's society. Today society is constantly evolving and traditional learning techniques are becoming the norm in what is required to attain a career. Furthermore, why with the application of online classes students would be able to survive in a very competitive business market.
